Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of saf-integration.com (the "Site") operated by SAF-Integration, a sole-proprietor service business based in Petoskey, Michigan. By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

The agreement for any actual installation, service, or repair work we perform is a separate written estimate, work authorization, or invoice — not these Site terms. Those project documents control the work itself.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal or business purposes related to learning about, requesting, or receiving services from SAF-Integration. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data you are not authorized to access.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, the servers, or the BoMa-AI intake systems behind it (denial of service, scraping at high volume, probing for vulnerabilities, etc.).
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site, including impersonating another person.
  • Use any automated tool to extract content from the Site for commercial purposes without our written permission.

2. The SAFe-AI / BoMa-AI demo

The Site includes a live demo of our AI intake system ("SAFe-AI" / "BoMa-AI"). The demo exists so you can see how a request gets parsed and routed before a human picks it up. Anything the demo says is informational only. It is not:

  • A binding quote or estimate.
  • Engineering, electrical, or design advice you should rely on without a real walk-through.
  • A representation that the system is available, will produce a particular answer, or will be free of errors.

Real scope and pricing always come from a free walk-through and a written estimate. Do not enter sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, account passwords, health information, etc.) into the demo. Inputs are processed and may be stored to improve the system; see our Privacy Policy.

3. Information about services and licensing

SAF-Integration currently provides Lutron RA3 design and programming, smart-home integration, audio/video, motorized shades, cameras and NVR, structured wiring, and related low-voltage work in northern Michigan. We are Lutron RA3 Certified.

Full residential and commercial electrical contracting is planned to launch under the SAFElectric brand once our Michigan electrical contractor license is issued. Until that license is issued, we do not perform line-voltage electrical work, panel work, EV chargers, dedicated circuits, or fixture installation under our own license. When such work is part of a project, we coordinate with a licensed electrician.

Service availability, response times, and area coverage may change without notice. References to "free walk-throughs" apply within our service area; outside that area, travel may be required and quoted accordingly.

4. Intellectual property

The Site's content — text, design, graphics, the SAF-Integration and SAFElectric brand marks, the BoMa-AI brand mark, photographs, and the underlying code — is owned by SAF-Integration or its affiliated entity BoMa-AI LLC, or used with permission, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Beyond that, please ask before reusing or republishing.

Third-party trademarks (Lutron, Caséta, RadioRA, Eero, UniFi, etc.) are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the products we work with.

5. No warranty on Site content

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, but we do not warrant that the Site is error-free, uninterrupted, or that any specific information is complete, accurate, or up to date at the moment you read it. Pricing, service descriptions, and availability are illustrative and subject to confirmation in a written estimate.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Michigan law, SAF-Integration, its owner, and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site, the SAFe-AI demo, or the contact form. Our total liability for any claim related to your use of the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.

This Site-use limitation does not affect any liability we may have under a separate written project agreement, estimate, or invoice for actual services we perform — those obligations are governed by their own terms.

7. Third-party links

The Site may include links to third-party websites (manufacturers, software vendors, social platforms). We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.

8. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms over time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. If a change is material, we'll highlight it on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Emmet County, Michigan, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. (Disputes about a project we performed are governed by the written agreement for that project, which may specify a different forum.)
