Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026
SAF-Integration ("we," "us," "our") is a sole-proprietor service business based in Petoskey, Michigan, operating the website at saf-integration.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
If anything here isn't clear, email bradwentzel@bomaaihq.com or call 231-838-0202. We'd rather answer a question than have you wonder.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quote-request form: name, phone number, email (optional), project type, address or general area (optional), and any details you include in the message field.
- SAFe-AI / BoMa-AI demo: the text you type into the on-site chat demo. This is processed to demonstrate intake, scoping, and routing. We may store the prompt and response for service quality and product improvement.
- Direct communication: if you call, text, or email us, we keep that record so we can follow up and serve you well.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) records standard request data — IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamps — for security and operations.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: we may use Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics product to understand how the site is being used (page views, referrers, country-level location, browser type, page-load performance). Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not store IP addresses for analytics purposes. The data we see is aggregated. We do not currently run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising trackers, or any other behavioral-tracking tools.
- Fonts: the site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, your IP address is visible to Google as a normal part of that request. Google's use of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
- Cookies: we do not set first-party tracking cookies, and our current analytics tools do not set them either. If we add a tool that requires cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide consent controls where required.
2. How we use information
- Respond to your quote request, schedule a walk-through, and answer questions.
- Communicate with you about a project we've quoted, are doing, or have completed.
- Keep a customer record so a follow-up call a year from now isn't starting from zero.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website and the BoMa-AI intake system that supports it.
- Comply with legal, tax, and warranty obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it for marketing lists. The only third parties that touch your data are service providers we use to actually run the business:
- Resend (transactional email delivery) — receives your contact-form submission so it can be emailed to us.
- Cloudflare (web hosting and CDN) — handles request routing and security for the website.
- BoMa-AI (operated by BoMa-AI LLC, an affiliated Michigan company that builds the intake/AI platform we use) — receives quote-request data so it can land in our internal lead pipeline. This is not sharing with an unrelated party; it is the system we use to run the shop.
- Government, legal, or safety reasons — if we are required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property, we may disclose information to authorities or our attorneys.
If SAF-Integration is ever sold, merged, or transferred, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction; the receiving party will be bound by this policy or one substantially similar.
4. How long we keep information
We keep contact-form submissions and customer records for as long as we reasonably need them — typically up to 24 months for quote requests that don't become projects, and longer for active customers, projects under warranty, and records we need to keep for tax or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your record sooner — see Section 6.
5. How we protect information
We use standard industry practices: HTTPS for all site traffic, scoped credentials for service providers, access controls on internal systems, and the principle of "only as much as we need." No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and do not collect more than the work requires.
6. Your choices and rights
Regardless of where you live, you can email bradwentzel@bomaaihq.com at any time to:
- Ask what information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to records we are required to keep — for example, an invoice we've already issued).
- Opt out of any future marketing emails. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of texts.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of your information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not have a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link because there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any other CCPA right, email us using the address above. We will respond within 45 days.
Other state residents
If you live in a state with a comprehensive consumer data privacy law — including (but not limited to) Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, Delaware, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maryland, Minnesota, Indiana, Kentucky, or Rhode Island — you may have rights similar to those described above (access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of sale or targeted advertising). SAF-Integration is a small Michigan business that almost certainly falls below the thresholds these laws apply to, but we will honor reasonable requests under any applicable state law. Email us at bradwentzel@bomaaihq.com with your request and the state you reside in.
Authorized agents: some state laws permit you to designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for written proof of authority and may ask you to verify your identity directly before fulfilling the request.
Appeals: if we deny a state-law privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our denial email within 45 days. We will respond to the appeal within 60 days.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging service for their home or business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
7. Communications
When you submit our contact form, you consent to be contacted by phone, text message, or email about your request. This is transactional contact tied to the project you asked about — not marketing. We do not send promotional text blasts. If we ever launch a true marketing email list (for example, an "early list" announcement when SAFElectric goes live), it will be opt-in and every message will include a clear unsubscribe option, consistent with the federal CAN-SPAM Act.
8. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites (manufacturers like Lutron, software like Eero or UniFi). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their content or data practices.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business evolves — for example, when SAFElectric launches as a licensed electrical contractor, or if we add analytics. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated to active customers directly.
